The Secret to Making Lots of Money

August 5th, 2008 · 18 Comments

Let me guess: you found this post because you want to get rich. And you’re trying to find ways to make money online. I’ll take another wild-ass guess: you read affiliate marketing forums or blogs. One more guess: you’ve read over a couple of e-books in your life.

I’m probably correct for a good number of people reading this. And I realize something else: you want to find out secrets, secrets which will help you earn lots of money.

So I’ll reveal something I’ve found out - there are no secrets. There really aren’t! There are basic elements of success (in life) and they generally apply across the board in most situations.

  • Knowledge of the basics.
  • Hard work.
  • Practice.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Good looks and a great sense of humor.

There is no secret ingredient to success. There is simply the basic desire to win and a devotion or adherence to the basic elements listed above. And maybe a small bit of luck thrown in. But that’s it.

You want to see an example of a guy who was successful, without “magic” or secrets? A guy who used creative thinking more than anything to become successful? Read here to see how he made $95,000 in two months.

Any of us can do the same - we all have the skills, we’re just not suing them.

(I didn’t forget about the Shareasale Tool by the way - it’s coming. Promise.)

That pretty much nailed it - it is all about the hard works and putting ideas into action - so many people have great ideas but don’t act on them.

I have built increased my client base consistently since I began providing law enforcement pre-employment psychological evaluations for local North Texas law enforcement agencies in 1994 because of these very reasons. Hard work, diligence, and the ability to provide a good quality, needed service to an industry that demands excellence.

This is exactly how I’ve built my client base. I now provide pre-employment psychological evaluations to many prominent public safety departments in Texas.

Right, there is no secret sauce. It’s just the repetitive application of marketing knowledge.

Most people fail by not taking action.

Find out what people want and give it to them. That’s the not so secret secret. Yours John

People’s biggest problem with making money is FEAR. Either they are afraid to try something new, spend money on marketing techniques they know little about, think outside of the box and failure to name a few. If you can over come this fear and venture out on your own then yes you can make money. If not, then it just makes it that much harder for you.

That’s true there is no real secret in this business, all you need is to do your time just like inmate in jail. You need to do your time, you need to research, you need to experiment. Sooner or later you will get it, and you will find the truth. Remember from if you make 1 dollar a day, that means your doing something right. So keep doing what you are doing, and you will get there.

As I started around year 2000 it was really easy to make quickbucks. But right now it’s not that easy anymore. There are so many competitors fighting for search engine top spots that it blows my mind :-(

I think the hardest part is dedication…staying the course without success! Be patient when trying to build an online income!

The secret is exactly as you stated. Hard work and putting to use your god given talents. Making money online is not easy but if done correctly anything can be accomplished.

I am doing it now and even get paid daily doing so, and so can anyone else if they put their minds to it.

I think too many people suffer from procrastination - once they realise that it’s going to take time and effort they put things off too much. I know inaction held me back for a long time - however when the money started running out that spurred me into action!

You’re 100% right. There are no secrets to getting rich overnight…Legally anyway. :) Work hard and then work HARDER. Push yourself, exhaust ALL options before giving up. Most people won’t put in the work, that’s why most people - fail.
