Agreed. I created a tax preparation & bookkeeping company that is internet based. I also do QuickBooks consultations locally. It’s been about 4 months and there is a lot of competition out there. It’s not as easy as it sounds.

Translation has been in demand since the days of the Tower of Babel so don’t sweat it - if you become proficient, there will be a demand. Lots of possibilities with that - everything from being a tour guide to doing translations of software or books or subtitles…I’m sure you will have work!

And that is why I’m hoping to get into translation one day. I would really love to work from home full time. And there are a lot of jobs going where I live for Japanese Translators… However, I’m sure when I’m fluent in the language the demand will have gone!!
